Shopify's review summaries credit both with simple setup. Amp's recent five-star reviews praise customisation and how well it fits the theme. Among the Amp low-star reviews, 3 of 17 found setup hard or integrations missing at the time, and 3 of 17 had button or theme problems, usually after a theme change. For Notify, 2 of 20 found it too rigid or the default look poor.

Two reviewers kept paying for months before noticing it had stopped working. Two mentioned trouble with multiple stock locations, though one of those is from 2019 and the developer replied that location support was added. Many of these reviews date from 2018 to 2021.
